The Role
We are seeking an experienced Waiter or Waitress to join our team at the Cafe, Shilstone House. Your main responsibility is to ensure that guests have a wonderful experience. You will deliver excellent service from initial greeting, taking orders, making recommendations and paying of the bill.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and ensure they feel welcome offering assistance with menu choices and special requests
- Food & drink knowledge – have a good understanding of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods, to provide recommendations and answer customer queries
- Proactively check on guests during their meal to ensure guest satisfaction and address any issue that may arise
- Collaborative teamwork – work closely with kitchen staff, bar tenders and other team members to ensure an efficient service
- Make delicious coffee!

Your own transport is essential as we are not on any public transport routes
Work Location: In person
Schedule: Day shift – Wednesday to Sunday
Job Types: Part-time
Pay: £7.75-£12.25 per hour dependent on age and experience
