Wedding Journey
The journey of your wedding begins with drinks outside the house for guests to meet. The ceremony takes place in the Great Barn, or in front of the house in the East Courtyard. Following the ceremony, the bride and groom enter the house, surrounded by confetti-bearing friends, to enter the grand interior of Shilstone House. Cocktails and canapes in the West Hall await and explore the lovely gardens and enjoy the magnificent views. Then wander through to our 17th-century walled garden filled with flowers and trees, where dinner, speeches and evening party will take place.

The heart of Shilstone, our grade II listed manor house, is the perfect place setting to enjoy cockails and canapes for your wedding reception.
The Great Barn
An original 19th century hay barn, with high ceilings and exposed oaks beams, create the perfect space for your civil ceremony.
The East Garden
During the summer, host your ceremony in the east garden framed by yew buttresses and sweet smelling wisteria.
The West Garden
The sun-filled west garden is the perfect spot to enjoy the afternoon sun, and enjoy a garden cocktail. A flagstone terrace creates a natural stage for live music.
The Mughal Marquee
Nestled in the walled garden our light filled Mughal marquee, with double-height ceilings and large windows opening out to the garden, is the perfect place for you to enjoy your wedding breakfast, speeches and evening party.
The Walled Garden
Our 17th century walled garden, festooned with flowers, trees as well as uninterrupted views of the rolling hills and farmland and home to our magnificent Mughal marquee.
The Teraced Garden
Wander around the terrace garden behind the house to take in the wonderful views and find a moment to be together. Also a great photo opportunity.
The Pool
Shilstone can also offer the exclusive use of our swimming pool, with its stunning views down the valley. The beautiful local beaches are also easily accessible.
